Duel

Writer :  Richard Matheson Director :  Steven Spielberg Year : 1971 Duel is a suspense road-thriller set on the highways of California. The film is the second feature in Spielberg's career, and he has quoted "Duel has given him a career".  The story is very simple and at the same time terrifying. Richard Matheson wrote the story inspired by his experience on the road when he was tailgated by trucker. The story was made into a Television film and later into a feature film. The television version was 74 minutes long, and various scenes were shot later and expanded the movie to 90 minutes.  The story begins with the encounter of David Mann with a tanker truck while on his business trip in the Mojave deserts of California. Mann passes a truck who later overtakes him and when Mann attempts to pass the truck another time the driver blasts the horn. Turtles Can Fly

Writer : Bahman Ghobadi Director :  Bahman   Ghobadi Year : 2004 Turtles can fly is a war drama, set in Iraqi-Turkish border, before the American invasion and the third feature in Ghobadi's filming career. Ghobadi relates the Turtles to the Kurdish people, and one of the characters in his movie named Hengov. The story is an insight into the refugee life in Kurdistan, a homeland that exists in the minds of the Kurd's somewhere on the border of Turkey and Iraq. The film is centralized around Hengov's sister, and a boy named Satellite as the main figures in the story, exploring through their life around the war-spoiled country. The film opens with a refugee village setting up Antenna's to receive news about the war and the arrival of American army. The people are eager to hear about the arrival of the Americans and to hear about Saddam Hussein.
